Human Resources Assistant | Tampa, FL

Job Description:

  • Assists with new employee background checks.
  • Schedules meetings and departmental interviews.
  • Maintains applicant interview spreadsheet, interview details, and communication between the parties.
  • Point of contact for all HCM solution questions or problems.
  • Helps to maintain company organizational charts.
  • Communication between management to ensure completion of 30-60-90 day Performance Reviews for all new hires.
  • Employee badge management- set up, shut down, and daily badge swipe report.
  • HR Correspondence- Offer letters, rejection letters.
  • Assist HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.

Foreclosure Legal Assistant | Tampa, FL

Job Description:

  • Running and reviewing court dockets;
  • Identify issues in foreclosure process and expedite resolution;
  • Preparing Pleadings, Motions, Affidavits, Etc;
  • Maintaining accurate and current information in case management system ;
  • Providing updates to the client via BKFS, Lenstar, Vendorscape, Tempo & ADR;
  • Meet client deadlines and adapt to industry change
  • Daily communication with clients in a professional manner;
  • Assist attorney in all aspects and areas of a statewide practice as needed;
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, opposing counsel, court clerks, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years legal experience;
  • Working legal knowledge of foreclosure and real estate transactions;

ALAW, an established, multi-state real estate and creditors’ rights law firm, is seeking a qualified attorney to support its Pittsburgh-based Pennsylvania practice. This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a full benefits package.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must be a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania State Bar, and be licensed (or able to become licensed) in the Pennsylvania federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • The candidate should have 5 or more years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or creditors’ right practice.
  • The candidate must be willing and able to proactively manage a substantial case load and must be proficient in conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA and the Bankruptcy Code are preferred.
  • Court appearances, and some attendant travel, may be required.
