Biography
Jonathan Sawyer is the managing partner at ALAW. He has been with the firm since receiving his undergraduate degree from The University of Florida and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College.
Jonathan provides executive oversight for the firm’s REO (real-estate owned), retail closing, DIL (deed in lieu), eviction, default title, and foreclosure practices. Additionally, Jonathan oversees the firm’s title agencies and underwriter relationships focusing on the firm’s compliance with all underwriting requirements, federal, state, and local laws.
Jonathan has established a strong reputation with institutional lenders, mortgage servicers, national title providers and asset managers as an industry expert regarding lender-driven transactions, the disposition of troubled assets, and post-acquisition services.
